And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Hebrews 10:24-25

Groups are an important part of Gods plan for the church, how we can build one another up, and how we can reach out to those in our community.

Our pre-school music and movement group meets on Tuesdays at 9:30am during the school term. We have an enthusiastic team who lead this ministry and it is a popular group with the mothers and sometimes fathers, grandparents and carers who bring their children. The session lasts approximately 30 minutes and is followed by morning tea, first for the children, then the adults. While the adults enjoy their cuppa there is toys and a play area for the children to keep themselves occupied.  A waiting list may apply.

DPC Youth ministry is an adventure seeking youth group. We follow Jesus as we marvel creation, share life and seek adventures wherever we go.

Our program at DPC Youth depends very much on what we do. We might be out and about exploring Auckland, Hunua, Bombay or at times we might opt to stay indoors (not our default choice). We would love for you to join us on our weekly Adventure during school terms, the best way to do that would be to subscribe to our newsletter by clicking this link or check out the church calendar for regular updates on what, where and when its all happening! (events are sometimes canceled due to weather, so make sure you keep in touch)

As part of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand we seek to make Jesus Christ known to all people through:

  • Teaching and nurturing people in Christian faith
  • Loving service responding to human need
  • Proclaiming the gospel
  • Seeking to transform society as God commanded
  • Caring for God’s creation
